The short answer

Money Cart 2 is Relax Gaming's Bonus Reels game built around a 5×4 board, locked value symbols and character effects. Three or more Bonus symbols start respins; new symbols refresh the counter, and completed columns can open extra reels.

Money Cart 2 Bonus Reels puts the Money Train characters directly into a feature-focused game. The interesting part is the board: values stay in place, characters change those values, and new columns give the collection more room. Once you understand the difference between adding, collecting and doubling, the action becomes much easier to follow.

Relax Gaming describes a 5×4 starting grid and a format centered on Bonus Reels. Its original release announcement identifies the familiar Payer, Collector, Sniper and Necromancer. Here is how to read the round they create.

How the Money Cart 2 respin round works

Three or more Bonus symbols start the respin feature, including qualifying gold symbols. The starting symbols show their values and actions before the first respin. The round begins with three respins, and a new symbol refreshes the remaining-spin counter. These entry and counter rules are set out in Virgin Games' Money Cart 2 rules.

Think of the board as a ledger that grows. Each occupied position holds a value or a character. The next useful thing to watch is whether the new arrival adds a position, changes existing values, or does both.

A filled column can open another reel, with up to two extra columns described in OlyBet's published game rules. That expands the space available for later symbols.

What each character contributes

The character names describe different operations. Use this compact reference while following a feature:

What each character contributes
CharacterOperation to follow
PayerAdds its displayed value to other symbols
CollectorAdds other visible values to its own
Collector/PayerCollects first, then distributes its updated value
SniperDoubles selected Bonus-symbol values
NecromancerReactivates eligible used special symbols
Reset PlusRaises the starting respin-counter value
Persistent characterRepeats its specified action on later spins

The detailed operator rules describe three to eight Sniper doubling actions and allow the same symbol to be selected again. They also identify Persistent Payer, Persistent Sniper and Persistent Collector. That makes the action sequence worth following: a value can change several times within a round.

For broader terminology, the site's guide to wild and scatter symbols provides a useful companion to this character-based system.

A Collector/Payer calculation, step by step

Here is an original arithmetic example in displayed value units. It illustrates the operations; it is a worked example rather than a recorded round.

Suppose three occupied positions show 4, 7 and 9. Together, they hold 20 units. A Collector/Payer arrives with its own value of 3.

First, it collects the existing values:

3 + 4 + 7 + 9 = 23.

Its updated value is 23. Next, it pays that value to each of the three other positions:

A Collector/Payer calculation, step by step
PositionBefore the paymentAfter adding 23
First value427
Second value730
Third value932
Collector/Payer3 initially23 after collecting

The resulting board total is 27 + 30 + 32 + 23 = 112 units.

This example explains why “collect” and “pay” deserve separate attention. Collection updates the character's value. Distribution then updates the other positions. Reading those two steps in order makes the displayed total understandable.

Persistent symbols give the board a memory within the feature

A persistent effect has a continuing job. For example, imagine a Persistent Payer showing 2 beside three other occupied positions. Its specified payment adds 2 to each eligible position when it acts. Across three positions, that is 6 units of board growth for that activation.

If the same three positions receive the same payment on the next eligible activation, they receive another 6 units. Additional occupied positions can change the total amount distributed. This is why the count of participating symbols matters alongside the number printed on the character.

The published rules distinguish these continuing effects from a character's single activation. Follow the updated numbers after each action, then read the board total.

Money Cart 2 and Money Train 2: which title are you reading?

Money Cart 2 has its own product identity and Bonus Reels format. Relax's product page lists its completion award as 500 coins and its maximum as 50,000 coins. Keep those coin units attached when reading the figures.

Money Train 2 is the related full slot with its own base-game and Money Cart bonus structure. Our Money Train 2 feature guide follows that separate game.

When opening an information screen, start with the complete title, then read how that version labels values. The site's paytable guide explains how a coin value, a total bet and an award multiplier fit together.

Quick answers

How many extra reels can open? The published rules describe up to two additional columns.

What should I watch when a character lands? Read its starting value, follow its operation, and then check the updated positions.

Can Sniper select one value more than once? The operator rules explicitly describe repeat selections.

What makes Bonus Reels distinctive here? The collection board, character combinations, refreshing respins and expanding space form the center of the game.
